PROTOCOL as of 8/18/2021

  • NOTICE: Based on CDC recommendations due to the increased level of community transmission of the Delta variant in Essex County, ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING WHILE IN THE THEATRE.
  • All patrons must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon arrival at the theatre. Please provide one of the following:
    Original, paper copy or digital copy of vaccination card and/or NYS Excelsior Pass. Patrons unable to receive the vaccine can provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours of showtime.

Single Tickets

Ticket pricing for main stage shows differs between musicals and plays.

A ticket to a musical is

  • $40 Adult
  • $37 Senior
  • $34 Under 30

A ticket to a play is

  • $34 Adult
  • $32 Senior
  • $30 Under 30

“Preview Night” performances for each main stage production occur on the first Thursday (5:00PM) of that production’s run. A Preview Night is a fully rehearsed and staged performance, although some directorial decisions may be changed for future performances, and is offered at a lower price to ensure that theatre is more accessible for everyone. Tickets for Preview Night performances are $25. Preview Night dates for 2021 are: July 1, July 22, and August 12.

Group Tickets

Please call the Box Office at 518-962-4449 to order tickets for your group. The group discount can be applied to parties of 10 or more people. The group rate is not available online.

A 50% deposit must be made when a group order is placed, and the complete payment is due 10 days prior to the performance date. No refunds.

Subscriptions

NOTICE: Due to the uncertainty about seating for any performances in 2021, there were NO SUBSCRIPTIONS sold for the 2021 season. Note that patrons who have a credit from past subscriptions/gift certificates will be able to apply that credit toward any individual ticket sales.

Audiences Need to Know

DEPOT DIALOGUE: A discussion with the artists following a performance, noted by performance date. 

PARKING: Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the upper and lower lots of the Westport Train Station. Do not park in the U-Haul parking lot across the street as the owner will have vehicles towed.

AIR-CONDITIONING: The Depot Theatre is air-conditioned. Patrons who are sensitive to air-conditioning and Adirondack breezes may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater.

SEATING: Accessible seating is available for patrons who use wheelchairs and/or need to transfer to a seat from a wheelchair or walker. Seat widths vary. Please discuss any special seating accommodations with the Box Office when reserving seats. Thank you. 

2021 GUIDELINES: The Depot staff will do their best to optimize the experience while meeting these new protocols, and thanks our patrons for adhering to the following guidelines in order to enjoy live performances at the Depot Theatre this summer!

  • There will be no intermissions.
  • No food or beverages will be consumed in the theatre.
  • As policies evolve, updates will be posted online on DepotTheatre.org and outside the theatre.

Box Office Hours of Operation

June: 1pm-5pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
July-August: 1pm - 5pm every day (1pm until showtime on performance days). CLOSED TUESDAYS.
Off-season: Open one day a week, usually Monday (weather-dependent; closed on holidays)

 

Policies & Fees

Seating is subject to availability. Upgrade charges apply when exchanging Preview Night tickets to non-preview performances. Exchanges are always free for Main Stage Subscription holders. A $3 exchange fee typically applies to non-subscribers, but exchange fees will be waived for 2021 Season. To help defray the costs of maintaining our historical building and to support our educational programming, a $2 facility and education fee is added to each ticket (that's $2 per each show in a Subscription package). A convenience fee may be added to tickets purchased online. This fee is charged by a third-party provider, AudienceView/OvationTix, the company which provides the service. Tickets are non-refundable. Dates, times, and titles are subject to change. The age to qualify for the Senior Discount is 65. If you require any special seating accommodations please let the Box Office know when making reservations.
