TICK TICK…BOOM!
Music & Lyrics by Jonathan Larson
A musical about ambition, time, and the cost of chasing a dream.
June 25 – July 12, 2026
Before Rent changed Broadway forever, Jonathan Larson created this raw, electrifying one-man portrait of a young artist racing against the clock. After his untimely death, the piece was transformed into a full musical to celebrate his voice and ensure his story — and songs — would be heard.
Set in New York City in the early 1990s, Tick, Tick… Boom! follows an aspiring composer on the cusp of turning thirty, caught between love, friendship, and the relentless pressure to make something meaningful before time runs out. As personal and professional doubts collide, the show pulses with urgency, humor, and heart.
This is a fast, intimate musical that speaks directly to anyone who has ever wondered whether they are running out of time or just getting started.
