WESTPORT, N.Y. – The Depot Theatre is pleased to welcome the 2018 Seagle Music Colony fall season artists for a special, limited engagement of HEY BIG SPENDER from August 30 to September 1.

This fun-filled revue of the music of Broadway great Cy Coleman includes songs like “Hey, Big Spender,” “Come Follow The Band,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” and other favorites.

Cy Coleman, the only composer to win back-to-back Tony Awards for CITY OF ANGELS and WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, is best known for his jazzy popular tunes for the show SWEET CHARITY, where the songs “Hey, Big Spender and “If My Friends Could See Me Now” originate.

Coleman worked with many collaborators, from Dorothy Fields to Comden and Green with great success. Other musicals include: ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, I LOVE MY WIFE, SEESAW, BARNUM and many more. Each of his tunes evokes heart and soul and toe tapping originality.
