Essex on Lake Champlain reviews HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES!

Published in

After greatly anticipating The Hound of the Baskervilles at theDepot Theatre, I have finally seen the show! It was well worth the wait. (Enough to make me want to see it again!)

The show is a parody of the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story with a cast of three men playing a multitude of characters. Throughout the play you cheer for each man to successfully pull off switching each costume as things get more complicated in the faster climaxing moments.

Nicholson, is a giddy and hilarious re-telling of the famous story by Arthur Conan Doyle. It’s

told by only three actors, one of whom plays Dr. Watson throughout leaving the other two to

play Sherlock Holmes, Sir Henry Baskerville and assorted butlers, hermits, femme fatales, etc.
