Volunteer Opportunities
Ushers: Ushers arrive 45 minutes before curtain and assist in everything from seating patrons and handing out programs to helping sell raffle tickets at intermission. Ushers are welcome to watch the performance - if the show is sold out, they can come back and attend another performance when seating is available.
Office: The Depot office staff periodically need assistance with mailings - folding, stuffing and labeling thousands of envelopes!
Gardens: The train station has several garden areas which greatly help beautify the facility - but the staff rarely has time to weed and maintain these areas. We’d love to see someone with a green thumb volunteer to come in every two weeks or so to care for the gardens.
Production: Volunteers often assist with costume construction, set building and striking, and working backstage during productions. Volunteers have done a lot to improve the quality of housing for our casts and crews by painting bedrooms, finding furniture and decorations, and serving as a welcome committee.
