For over a
quarter of a century, The Depot Theatre has been a creative home for
countless artists whose careers were nurtured on The Depot’s stage.
Many of these artists have had meteoric careers. Indeed, you will find
Depot Theatre alumni in movies such as Moonstruck, Zelig, In and Out, Ghostbusters, Awakenings, Marty, Crimes and Misdemeanors, The Untouchables, and The Village, to name a few. On Broadway, our actors have been seen in Les Miserables, Annie, Cats, Cabaret, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Little Voice, The Goodbye Girl and Beauty and the Beast.
Off-Broadway credits include The Lincoln Center, The Roundabout,
Manhattan Theatre Club, Irish Rep and SoHo Rep, the Lortel, Circle in
the Square and others. In addition, summer and regional theatres where
Depot alumni have worked include The McCarter, Kennedy Center,
Cleveland Playhouse, Walnut Street Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Maine State
Theatre, The Goodman Theatre, Missouri Rep, Capital Rep, The Folger,
Virginia Stage, Dorset Theatre, Arena Stage, Weston Playhouse, St.
Michael’s Playhouse, Vermont Stage Company, Northern Stage and
countless others. Depot actors have also been featured in television
shows such as Law and Order, Northern Exposure, Ed, The Dana Carvey Show, The Sopranos, all the soap operas, and in numerous commercials.

- David Josefsberg (Winchell) in the Off-Broadway production of Altar Boyz (also featured in the April 2006 American Theatre Magazine).
- Also
featured in the April 2006 American Theatre Magazine: Jeanine Tesori,
Depot Theatre Advisory Board Member, with musical collaborator Buryl
Red working on Caroline or Change. Jeanine has been a Director and Musical Director at the Depot Theatre and composed the score for the musical, Galileo.
- Dominique Plaisant (Always, Patsy Cline) is appearing on Broadway in Lestat.
