The Depot Theatre is pleased to offer a number of programs that support the theatrical and artistic youth of the region, including the Apprentice Program and the annual Shakespeare-in-the-Park production.

The Apprentice Program is open to students age 7 and older who get the opportunity to work directly with Artistic Director, Shami McCormick and other theatre professionals, culminating in a performance on the Depot Theatre stage!

The Shakespeare-in-the-Park Program is open to high school aged students looking to immerse themselves in the rehearsal process, working with local theatre professionals, and finally performing in Westport's beautiful Ballard Park, overlooking Lake Champlain.

In the off-season, all are invited to attend the Depot Theatre playreadings on select Sundays from September through May.
