Mission Statement
The Depot Theatre is committed to providing professional theatre
productions and outreach services to the Adirondack region and to
creating a vibrant, nurturing artistic home for diverse theatre artists
in which they can further develop their craft. This strong commitment
to the individual artist is the hallmark of The Depot Theatre
experience. Emphasis is placed on gathering artists who enhance the
professional quality of Depot Theatre productions, and whose shared
knowledge, sense of humor and respect - for the playwright, fellow
artists and audience - enriches all. The Depot Theatre is further
committed to the preservation of its 19th century building so that it
remains part of the historic and cultural landscape of our region.
