If a train goes by, our Stage Manager will dim the stage lights and the actors will pause in a "soft-freeze" until the train passes. The action generally resumes where it left off, but occasionally, the actors jump back a line so things make better sense.

Generally, there is a 15 minute intermission. Tonight Only performances generally do NOT have intermissions.

The ushers are often members of the Depot Apprentice Program, a theatre education program for kids ages 7-18 during July and August.

You can, if you are member of Actors' Equity Association. The Depot is a union company, and we pay for health and pension benefits for our performers!

The actors are full-time working artists that work regionally and nationally. Typically, our casts come from in and around NYC, but sometimes from CA, TX, OK, FL, NJ, CT, PA, and VT. The directors, designers, and crew are also full-time working artists who work regionally and nationally. Some of the work is also done by theatre students and interns.
